Banksman Essentials
In this course, we cover your employer’s obligations towards your health and safety and provide an understanding of the ‘safe site, safe vehicle, safe driver’ model. It offers an introduction to the role of a Banksman, including the basic hand gestures that every Banksman should be aware of and that every operator of workplace vehicles should recognise and understand, aiming to decrease the chances of accidents while reversing.
Please note that this online course does not replace practical training or mean you’ll be classed as ‘competent’ by your employer. However, it provides important tools and information for anyone who is new to Banksman operations, or a refresher for anyone who needs a reminder of their Banksman knowledge.
