Accident Reporting Training in brief: Accident Reporting Training is an online CPD accredited course from ProCompliance covering what counts as a reportable injury, disease or dangerous occurrence. It takes approx. 15 minutes across 3 sections. A 20 question test follows, so learners have their certificate as soon as they pass.
Why this training matters
Reporting accidents properly is a legal duty, and it is how workplaces learn before something worse happens. Under RIDDOR certain injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences must be reported to the HSE.
Accident Reporting shows your team why near misses matter as much as injuries, because both tell you where the next accident will come from. It covers each person's responsibility and exactly what must be recorded and how. Staff then know when something has to be reported under RIDDOR, so reports arrive complete and on time.
