Sexual Harassment Awareness Training in brief: Sexual Harassment Awareness Training is an online CPD accredited course from ProCompliance covering what sexual harassment is, what the law expects of employers, how to report a concern or support a colleague, and how everyday behaviour builds a respectful workplace. It takes approx. 35 minutes online, and The Globe files the certificate once they finish.
Why this training matters
The preventative duty requires employers to act before sexual harassment occurs, not only after a complaint. From 30 October 2026 the duty rises to all reasonable steps. The Act also addresses third-party harassment where it occurs in the course of employment and the employer failed to take all reasonable steps to prevent it.
Sexual Harassment Awareness is a practical introduction to sexual harassment at work for anyone who works with colleagues, customers or the public. It covers what sexual harassment is, what the law now expects of employers, how to report a concern or support a colleague, and how everyday behaviour builds a respectful workplace. Learners watch 28 short video lessons set in everyday situations, from the office coffee round to a customer at a trade counter. Then they take a multiple-choice test.

Common questions
How can my business get Sexual Harassment Awareness training for its staff?
Enrol them on ProCompliance's Sexual Harassment Awareness course. It runs online through The Globe LMS in approx. 35 minutes, and each learner gets a certificate as soon as they pass. It carries CPD accreditation, and it follows the Worker Protection Act 2023, Employment Rights Act 2025. You can also try it free first, or book a demo to see how assigning and tracking it works.
Is Sexual Harassment Awareness Training accredited?
This course is CPD.
Which regulations does Sexual Harassment Awareness Training cover?
It follows Worker Protection Act 2023, Employment Rights Act 2025.
Do learners get a certificate?
Yes. The Globe issues a certificate on completion, so you can download it as a PDF straight away. The Globe keeps it against the learner, so you can produce it later without asking them for it.
How much does Sexual Harassment Awareness Training cost?
We quote it for your team. Use credits, take this course on its own, or give your team 12 months of access to all our courses. Once we know what you need, we find the best value option for you.
How is the training delivered?
Online, self-paced, through The Globe LMS. Managers assign it, The Globe records completion automatically, and the record sits with the rest of that person's training.
Is sexual harassment training a legal requirement?
No law names training on its own, but it is expected. Since 26 October 2024 employers have had a duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment, and from 30 October 2026 that becomes all reasonable steps. The Equality and Human Rights Commission's guidance lists training for staff as one of those steps.
How often should staff do sexual harassment training?
The law does not set a timetable. Acas recommends refreshing training so staff and managers can recognise, challenge and report inappropriate behaviour. A yearly refresher, and another whenever your policy or the law changes, works well. Our Sexual Harassment Awareness Refresher course is built for that.
Should our team finish the training before 30 October 2026?
Yes, if you can. The stronger duty applies from 30 October 2026, and The Globe gives each person a dated certificate and keeps the record, so you can show the training was in place. An Acas survey found that 41% of employers did not know the change was coming, so starting early puts you ahead.
