Target audience

The target audience for this course is all employees. All employees will encounter electricity during their working day and it’s important to be aware of the dangers posed.

Learning Path

This section covers the dangers associated with electricity, how it is conducted through your body and how to reduce the likelihood of accidents happening.

Time: Approximately 9 minutes

This section covers common accidents and different types of injuries that occur when exposed to live electrical currents. This section then goes onto to explain what to do in the event of someone suffering from an electrical based injury such as electrical burns or shocks.

In this section we look at the responsibilities of the employer and the employee when it comes to process and procedures to make the workplace safe.
