In brief: The Globe includes an assessment tool for DSE assessments. It also has an AI generator that turns your own text into questions. The Globe records each result against the person and reports it like any other training. An assessment then becomes evidence you can produce whenever somebody asks.
DSE assessments without the admin
Display Screen Equipment assessments are a legal duty for anyone who uses a computer for much of the day. Usually someone fills in a paper form, files it and forgets it. In The Globe, though, the assessment, the answers and the follow up sit with the rest of that person's record.

What the AI assessment tool does
How the AI assessment tool works
- Pick the assessmentUse the DSE assessment, or start a custom one.
- Draft it with AIPaste in the material you want it to cover, then choose how many questions to ask.
- Check itRead what the tool produced and edit anything that is not right before it goes out.
- Assign and recordSend it to the people who need it. The Globe then stores answers and completion against each person and shows them in reporting.
About the AI. The AI assessment tool drafts questions from what you give it. Accuracy of the result therefore depends on accuracy of the input. The Globe says so on the screen where you generate one, and it is worth repeating here. Read what the tool produced before you send it out. It saves you the blank page, but it does not replace your judgement.

Common questions
What is a DSE assessment?
A Display Screen Equipment assessment checks whether someone has set their workstation up safely: screen, chair, desk, posture and breaks. Employers have a duty to carry one out for anyone who uses display screen equipment for much of their work.
What does the AI assessment actually do?
You paste in the material the assessment should cover and say how many questions you want. The tool drafts the questions, so you start by editing a draft.
Is the AI output reliable?
It depends on what you put in. The tool states on screen that accuracy varies with the input provided. It also says you should check the result before use. Treat it as a first draft to review before it goes out.
Are the results recorded?
Yes. The Globe holds answers and completion against the person, with the date. They appear in the same reporting as course completions, so an AI assessment leaves the same record as a course.
Does the assessment tool cost extra?
No. It is part of The Globe and is always included.
