Food Safety and Hygiene Level 1

Food is part of our every day lives – we need it to survive. However, it doesn’t come without risks. Proper storage, preparation, and handling of food is vital to ensuring the food we eat, or provide, doesn’t harbour dangerous bacteria. Whether you are working in a restaurant, cafe, or even nurseries and schools, you are likely to be handling food at some point. This Food Safety and Hygiene Level 1 course is designed to provide awareness of food safety where you work in an area where food may be prepared, but you are not preparing it yourself.
