Food Safety and Hygiene Level 3

The food industry has some of the strictest legislation and best practices for a reason; when this guidance is not followed it can cause some serious harm and even be fatal. In Food Hygiene Level 3, we will cover everything you need to know about the additional responsibilities you will have as a supervisor or manager regarding food safety and hygiene, together with a refresher of the Level 1 and 2 Food Hygiene courses.

You will need to have completed level 2 before continuing with level 3. As well as the 4 C’s of Food Safety, Cross-Contamination, Cleanliness, Cooking and Chilling which are the basics when it comes to preparing, storing and serving food, to make sure you do it in a safe way, you will need to know about how to clean your area properly, what cross-contamination is, personal hygiene, safe temperatures when storing food, how to implement a food safety management system and much more. This course breaks these key areas down into a simple guide, so you can be confident while at work to not only produce the tastiest creations but also keep everyone safe.
